For a mere 2,50€ entrance fee you get very nice and detailed tour around the museum - the tourguide was very engaging, kind and knowledgeable as he guides you through Slovenian history, traditional life and customs, plus a lot of fun facts. The traditional house itself is quite well kept and gives you a very nice impression of how the people around 18th-19th century lived here. I was surprised this place was not more full, it's totally a gem.

Delizioso e ben tenuto davvero, la ragazza della reception ci ha fatto anche da guida con delle spiegazioni esaustive sulla storia, ricca di dettagli e curiosità. Una simpatica esperienza per un prezzo di pochi meritatissimi euro. Ci siamo proprio immersi nella vita di un tempo, consigliatissimo!

Museo muy interesante en el que aprendes como era la vida en los alpes eslovenos durante el siglo XVIII y principios del XIX. Visitas todas las estancias de la casa y te van explicando como era la vida y curiosidades. El chico que nos hizo la visita un encanto, super amable y simpatico ☺️

As you enter there is a room to your left where you purchase a ticket, and right in front of you some brochures on a stand.

I walked all of half a metre towards the brochures, taking about five seconds, and was shouted at "You can't just walk around, you have to buy an entrance ticket!"

Now the staff may be used to people thinking the museum is free, or to visitors trying to get out of buying a ticket, but a polite reminder rather than the full telling off might have been in order for my half-metre stray (not really "walking around"!)

Unsurprisingly the experience put me off and I didn't visit, which is a pity as from other reviews the exhibits seem very interesting.

I visited the museum in June this year. It was a nice summer day, so I was the only nerd to visit the small exebition. The host Susana was so nice as to give me a private tour. It was very interesting and we vividly exchanged our thoughts on how people lived in the past. It was such a nice and warm visit. She suggested visiting the village of Radovljica which we did. It was also beautiful. Thank you so much for this nice experience!

Überraschend interessantes kleines Museum. Wir sind eher aus Langeweile hineingegangen und wurden positiv sehr überrascht. Für einen schmalen Taler gibt es sogar eine Führung durch die Räumlichkeiten eines Bauernhauses aus dem 17. bis 18. Jahrhundert.

Molto interessante. Una casa del 1700, ovviamente ristrutturata, ma con suppellettili originali. Uno sguardo alla vita di quei tempi. Grazie alla guida locale, competente e gentile.
